Today's post concerns the author's current research project on the Vestal Virgins of Ancient Rome. She has focused her search, for the moment, on the physical evidence of Vestal Virgins: the Temple of Vesta and the House of the Vestals. The remains of each structure still stands in the Forum Romanium. In a few short weeks, the author will visit these and other historical sites. She looks forward to sharing her experiences. For today, the photographs of others will have to do.
